IHA won't let public see video

Family in Kamloops tapes Father being hit in care facility

CBC reports ...

A Kamloops woman says she has 49 hours of videotape showing her elderly father was the victim of abuse and neglect before his death at a residential care home last November.

Sellin is suing the Interior Health Authority (IHA) for abuse and neglect. The health authority is countersuing. And three care aides at Overlander are also suing Sellin for defamation and invasion of privacy. The IHA has also obtained a ban on publication so the video cannot be shown to the public.
